§ 4832. Costs of Damage. Except in cases where undue hardship would result, it shall be the responsibility of the party whose actions damage the subject cultural or historic property to bear the costs of avoiding, mitigating or satisfactorily reducing the level of damage. Source: PL 3-39, § 10.
