§ 5151. Appeals. All orders or final judgments made by any court in matters affecting a juvenile within the purview of this chapter may be appealed by the juvenile or the Commonwealth in accordance with 6 CMC § 8101. Appeals shall be reviewed as provided by the Commonwealth Rules of Appellate Procedure. Upon filing of the notice of appeal, the Commonwealth Supreme Court shall take jurisdiction of the case and if the juvenile is in detention shall promptly hold a hearing after the filing of the request to determine whether the juvenile shall remain in detention.
