§ 5301. Seals of the Mayors. (a) Each mayor shall have an official seal to be used to authenticate official acts, proclamations and other public documents issued by the mayor. (b) The official seal of each mayor shall designate the geographical area of the mayor’s jurisdiction and contain the words “Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands,” the year “1978,” and an illustration appropriate to the Commonwealth.
