§ 53031. Examination of Books and Premises of Licenses. (a) The Commission has the right, without prior notice to the owner or the agent of the owner, to make an examination of the books and may at any time make an examination of the premises of any person licensed under this chapter, for the purpose of determining compliance with this chapter and the rules of the Commission. (b) The Commission shall not require the books of any licensee to be maintained on the premises of the licensee. However, the owner or the agent of the owner must be capable of producing the books of the licensee within three hours of the Commission exercising its right to make an examination of the books.
