§ 53041. Estimate by the Commission When Statement Not Filed or False Statement Filed. If any marijuana producer fails, neglects, or refuses to file a statement required by 4 CMC § 53040 or files a false statement, the Commission shall estimate the quantities of marijuana flowers, marijuana leaves, and immature marijuana plants sold by the marijuana producer thereon. The marijuana producer shall be estopped from complaining of the quantities so estimated. Source: PL 20-66 § 2(141) (Sept. 21, 2018), modified. Commission Comment: The Commission changed the capitalization of the section title pursuant to 1 CMC § 3806(f). The Commission inserted a comma after “neglects” pursuant to 1 CMC § 3806(g). The Commission changed “Section 140 of this Act” to “4 CMC § 53040” pursuant to 1 CMC § 3806(c) and (g).
