§ 5353. Private Road or Driveway. (a) The operator of a vehicle about to enter or cross a highway from any private road or driveway or from an alley shall yield the right of way to all vehicles approaching on the highway. (b) The operator of a vehicle intending to turn to the left into an alley, private road, driveway, or any private property shall yield the right of way to all vehicles which are approaching from the opposite direction and which are so close as to constitute a hazard at any time during the turning movement and shall continue to yield the right of way to approaching vehicles until the left turn can be made with reasonable safety. (c) An operator having yielded as required by subsection (b) of this section, and having given a signal when and as required by this title, may turn left and the operators of all other vehicles approaching from the opposite direction shall yield the right of way.
