§ 101. Short Title. This title may be cited as the Commonwealth Criminal Code. Source: PL 3-71, § 1 (§ 101). Commission Comment: PL 3-71 was enacted September 1, 1983, but took effect November 30, 1983; see PL 3-71, § 1 (§ 111), providing for the delayed effective date. Several provisions of the Commonwealth Criminal Code are based (with numerous variations, omissions and additions) on provisions of the Model Penal Code approved by the American Law Institute on May 24, 1962.
