§ 6504. Calling of Special Elections. All special elections subject to the call of the Governor shall be called by proclamation of the Governor of the Commonwealth. The Commission shall cause a copy of the proclamation to be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the Commonwealth and to be posted in each senatorial election district or mayoral island or islands where such elections will take place. Commission Comment: The Commission replaced the word “were” with “where” in the second sentence of the above section 6504 as such appeared to be a grammatical and contextual typographical error in the original text.
