§ 6702. Unlawful Threats to Candidate or Family. Any person who directly or indirectly threatens or intimidates any candidate or his immediate family by physical means, bribery, extortion, or any other means so as to attempt or cause the candidate to withdraw from the election shall upon conviction be fined $5,000 or imprisoned for not less than sixty (60) days nor more than five years.
