§ 7311. Purpose. The purpose of this chapter is to establish a fire safety code designed to safeguard to a reasonable degree life and property from the hazards of fire and explosions arising from storage, handling and use of hazardous substances, materials and devices, and from any conditions hazardous to life and property in the use or occupancy of any buildings and premises.
