§ 7728. Penalties. (a) Any person, except a bank, who knowingly violates 1 CMC § 7723 shall be imprisoned for not more than five years and fined not less than $2,000 or both. (b) Any bank who knowingly violates 1 CMC § 7723 shall be fined not less than $5,000 for each day of noncompliance with the applicable provisions.
