§ 7812. Purposes. It is the purpose of this part to implement N.M.I. Const. art. III, § 12 by creating an office of the Public Auditor to conduct audits of all Commonwealth government agencies and activities and to assign such additional duties to the Public Auditor as the legislature deems necessary.
