§ 8218. Incorporation of the Commonwealth Insurance Act of 1983. This chapter shall be interpreted and enforced in a manner that is consistent with and subject to the Commonwealth Insurance Act of 1983, at 4 CMC § 7101 et seq., as amended. The congruence of these acts shall include, but not be limited to, the authority of the Insurance Commissioner to set and otherwise regulate motor vehicle insurance policies and the rates thereof under 4 CMC § 7504.
