§ 8232. Utility Payments: Nonapplicability to Preexisting Employment Contracts. The provisions of 1 CMC § 8231 shall not apply to any occupant who is guaranteed free electrical power or free water by virtue of any contract of employment or agreement which was in effect as of October 1, 1977; provided, however, that no contracts of employment or agreements entered into following the effective date of this act shall be inconsistent with the terms of this act.
