§ 8262. Definitions. As used in this article: (a) “Agency” means any branch, agency, department, instrumentality, or independent program of the government of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. (b) “Disaster” means any occurrence which activates the Commonwealth Emergency Operations Plan or a declaration of an “emergency or disaster” by the Governor. Source: PL 9-63, § 2.
