§ 8388. Withholding of Taxes, Insurance Premiums, and Obligations to the Fund. (a) Notwithstanding any other provision of this part, any taxes required to be withheld pursuant to any applicable Commonwealth law will be withheld from a retired member’s annuity. (b) Notwithstanding any other provision of this part, a retired member who consents in writing may have withheld from his or her annuity payments for life and health insurance premiums for any group life or health insurance program approved by the board. (c) Notwithstanding any other provision of this part, a retired member may have withheld from his or her annuity any amount necessary to repay any obligation owed to the fund by that member.
