Compensation of Commissioners. The Commissioners shall be compensated at a monthly rate of $800.00 per commissioner, expect the Chairperson shall receive $1,000.00 monthly, provided all scheduled monthly meetings are attended or excused by the Chairperson or his designee. Travel costs and expenses shall be provided, if applicable, for the purpose of attending official Commission meetings within the Commonwealth. Rules and rates for official travel outside the Commonwealth shall be the same as the rates established by the executive branch. Thirty days after travel outside the Commonwealth, a report must be submitted to the Governor’s office summarizing the costs and the purpose and accomplishments of the travel.
