Police Roadblocks/Check Points. The Department of Public Safety, in coordination with the Office of the Attorney General, is hereby authorized by this chapter to conduct roadblocks and/or checkpoints along the public highways of the Commonwealth to enforce the provisions of this chapter in the manner provided herein. The department shall promulgate rules and regulations establishing the guidelines procedures, and requirements for conducting the roadblocks or checkpoints or both within 60 days of the effective date of this chapter.
