§ 9236. Rules and Regulations. The department shall adopt rules and regulations as are necessary to carry out the purposes of this chapter or to prevent the circumvention or evasion of this chapter and to safeguard the minimum wage rates established. These rules and regulations may define terms used in this chapter including but not limited to, restriction or prohibition of industrial or household homework or of other acts or practices as the department finds necessary. Such rules and regulations may also provide for reasonable deductions from the minimum wage applicable under this chapter for board, lodging or other similar benefits furnished by an employer to his employee.
