§ 9307. Lottery Commission: Prize Allotment. There shall be reserved and deposited in the Commonwealth Lottery FundPrize Trust account, to be apportioned for payment of prizes to the winners, such set amount, minimum balance, or proportion of the total annual revenue accruing from the operation of the lottery, as the commission determines. Such payments shall not require appropriation by the legislature, but may be made only with commission approval. Prize winners shall have a claim against the Commonwealth government for the payment of their prizes only to the extent that funds have been accrued, reserved, and deposited in the Commonwealth Lottery FundPrize Trust account.
