[Repealed effective 10/09/2026 by H.B. 455, 136th General Assembly] Status as school district and board of education

A college-preparatory boarding school established under this chapter shall be considered a school district and its board of trustees shall be considered a board of education for the purpose of applying to any state or federal agency for grants that a school district or public school may receive under federal or state law or any appropriations act of the general assembly.
