The road known as state route one hundred one, running in a northeasterly and southwesterly direction between the municipal corporations of Castalia and Sandusky in Erie county only, shall be known as the "Sfc. Charles L. Adkins Memorial Highway." The director of transportation may erect suitable markers along the highway indicating its name.
