That portion of the road known as state route number one hundred seventy-two, commencing at the intersection of that route and Jackson avenue and proceeding in an easterly direction to the intersection of that route and Perry drive within Stark county only, shall be known as the "U.S.M.C. Sgt. Daniel J. Patron Memorial Highway." The director of transportation may erect suitable markers along the highway indicating its name.
