That portion of the road known as state route number fifty-one, commencing at the intersection of that route and Witty road and proceeding in a northwesterly direction to the intersection of that route and state route number seven hundred ninety-five within Ottawa county only, shall be known as the "Officer William J. Hetrick Memorial Highway." The director of transportation may erect suitable markers along the highway indicating its name.
