That portion of the road known as state route number fifty-five, running in an easterly direction between the municipal corporations of Troy and Casstown in Miami county, shall be known as the "Pfc. Jeffrey L. Rice Memorial Highway." The director of transportation may erect suitable markers along the highway indicating its name.
