That portion of the road known as United States route number thirty, running in an easterly and westerly direction between state route number six hundred two and state route number five hundred ninety-eight, shall be known as the "Staff Sgt. Kendall H. Ivy II Memorial Highway." The director of transportation may erect suitable markers along the highway indicating its name.
