That portion of the road known as state route number eighteen, commencing at the intersection of that state route and interstate route number seventy-one and extending in an easterly direction to the intersection of that state route and interstate route number seventy-seven within Medina county only, shall be known as the "Sgt. Michael W. Finke, Jr., Memorial Highway." The director of transportation may erect suitable markers along the highway indicating its name.
