That portion of the road known as state route number ninety-three, commencing at the intersection of that route and cedar street in Jackson county and proceeding in a southerly direction to the boundary of Jackson county and Lawrence county, shall be known as the "Sgt. Donald Russell Long, Medal of Honor Recipient, Memorial Highway." The director of transportation may erect suitable markers along the highway indicating its name.
