In addition to any other name prescribed in the Revised Code or otherwise, that portion of the highway known as United States route number twenty-three, commencing at the intersection of that route and Wyandot county road number forty-two and proceeding in a southerly direction to the intersection of that route and Wyandot county road number forty-four, shall be known as the "OSHP Sgt. John F. Best Memorial Highway."The director of transportation may erect suitable markers along the highway indicating its name.
