(A) As used in this section, "financial transaction device" has the same meaning as in section 301.28 of the Revised Code. (B) A county auditor may establish procedures and take actions that are necessary to allow for either or both of the following: (1) The registration of dogs and kennels under this chapter via the internet; (2) The payment of dog and kennel registration fees under this chapter by financial transaction devices, including payment by financial transaction devices via the internet.
