Illegal handling of voting ballots

Any unauthorized person who knowingly removes a ballot from a polling place or who knowingly carries a ballot into a polling place shall be deemed guilty of a Class D1 felony offense. Added by Laws 2010, c. 176, § 3, eff. Jan. 1, 2011. Amended by Laws 2025, c. 486, § 480, eff. Jan. 1, 2026.
