The section of State Highway 48A beginning at the intersection of Hollow Springs Road, extending east to the intersection of SH-48 in Coleman in Johnston County shall be designated as the "C.D. Scribner WWII Veteran Memorial Highway". The Department of Transportation shall cause suitable permanent markers bearing that name to be placed on the highway.
