Liability insurance

The Department may purchase, with public funds, insurance to protect against civil liability on the part of the Department, officers, employees and administrators of the Department. This section shall not be construed as waiving the governmental immunity of the state. Added by Laws 2005, c. 363, § 47, eff. Nov. 1, 2005.
