The governing body of the governmental unit may issue bonds, pursuant to law, provided that bonds of the governmental unit may be issued in the manner provided by law for the issuance of bonds for
other functions, for the purpose of acquiring land or buildings for playgrounds, recreation centers, swimming pools and other recreational purposes, and for the equipment thereof. Laws 1977, c. 256, § 33-110, eff. July 1, 1978.
