Section 6. Fees.--Except as otherwise specifically provided in this act, any prothonotary or recorder of deeds, and any State department, board, commission, or officer, other than the department or its employes, shall be entitled to receive for services performed, as required by this act, such fees as it lawfully charges for such similar services.
