Section 1. Probate clerks; appointment; powers
Controllers of the several cities of this Commonwealth shall be and are hereby authorized to appoint, from among their employees, one or more persons to be probate clerks, who shall have power to administer oaths or affirmations in all matters relating to accounts against said city. 1897, June 15, P.L. 159, Sec. 1; 1947, April 15, P.L. 17, No. 9, Sec. 1.
