Section 3. Police Sergeant Stephen Liczbinski Memorial Highway.
(a) Findings.--Police Sergeant Stephen Liczbinski was tragically killed in the line of duty on May 3, 2008, while pursuing bank robbers. Sergeant Liczbinski was 39 years old at the time of his death. He was a devoted and loving husband to his wife and a proud and loving father to his three children. He was a resident of the Burholme section of Philadelphia.
(b) Designation.--The portion of Cottman Avenue (Route 73) from Algon Avenue west to Central Avenue, Burholme section, City of Philadelphia, is hereby designated as the Police Sergeant Stephen Liczbinski Memorial Highway.
(c) Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs to indicate the designation under subsection (b).
