Section 1. Moving steam machinery on public road
From and after the passage of this act, it shall not be lawful for any person or persons owning or controlling for himself or others, to move any machinery propelled by steam over any public road or highway, excepting under the provisions of the act herein provided. 1885, June 30, P.L. 251, No. 173, Sec. 1.
