Section 17. Limited waiver of local requirements.
The limitation on Department of Transportation funding of capital projects under 74 Pa.C.S. § 1302(4) (relating to program authorizations) shall be waived for the capital projects in the category of transportation assistance projects for mass transit contained in section 5(b)(10)(x), (xi), (xii) and (xiii), (13)(i), (xix), (xx), (xxi), (xxii) and (xxiii) and (16) of this act.
