Section 15.1. Demonstration timber bridge program.
(a) The department may select certain State highway or non-State highway bridges enumerated in this act to be constructed with timber in accordance with specifications prepared or approved by the department.
(b) The maximum grant to local government municipalities shall not exceed the percentage set forth in section 2(c).
(c) The sum of $300,000 is appropriated from the Motor License Fund for use in the demonstration timber bridge program to be applied against the nonlocal government municipality share of a project.
