Section 20. Conditions and limitations on certain capital projects.
(a) Department of Transportation Magnetic Levitation Project.--The program provided for in section 3(16)(xiii) shall be developed in conjunction with the project referenced in the Federal Legislation Conference Report 105-550, Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century, TEA-21, Section 1218(d)(4), dated May 22, 1998.
(b) Change in the use of funds.--Funds authorized in section 3(6)(xii)(A) of the act of July 2, 1993 (P.L.265, No.47), known as the Capital Budget Project Itemization Act for 1993-1994, for the Pennsylvania Military Museum Visitor Center may be used for a general expansion of the Pennsylvania Military Museum.
(c) Change of location of institution.--Notwithstanding the provisions of section 3(4)(x)(A) of the act of October 10, 1997 (P.L.392, No.47), known as the Capital Budget Project Itemization Act for 1996-1997, the construction of a new close-security institution with a capacity of approximately 1,236 cells does not have to occur within a 50-mile radius of the existing institution.
