Section 27. Penalty for violation of act
Any person convicted of violating the provisions of the preceding sections, shall be fined in a sum not less than fifty, nor more than five hundred dollars for each offense; one-half to be paid to the county treasurer for the use of the commonwealth, and the other half to the person or persons who shall prosecute such offender. 1849, April 10, P.L. 570, Sec. 27.
