Section 21. Department of General Services authorization.
(1) The Department of General Services is authorized, subject to executive approval and authorization, to construct the Family Court Building itemized in section 3(7)(iv)(E) by contract awarded by the Department of General Services or to acquire the Family Court Building by means of a lease with an option to purchase.
(2) The Department of General Services is authorized, subject to executive approval and authorization, to construct a terminal facility for fresh food distribution itemized in section 3(8)(ii)(B) of the act of June 22, 2004 (P.L.257, No.40), known as the Capital Budget Project Itemization Act of 2003-2004, by contract awarded by the Department of General Services or to acquire a terminal facility for fresh food distribution with an option to purchase.
