Section 5. Building inspectors to enforce act; to be fined for neglect
The building inspectors of the City of Philadelphia are hereby authorized and required to carry out the provisions of this act, and shall, on complaint of any citizen of said city of the violation of any of its provisions, bring suit for the recovery of the penalty imposed for said violation; and one-half of said penalty, when enforced, to be paid to the informer, and one-half to the treasurer of the fund for the relief of disabled firemen, for the benefit of said fund. 1867, March 14, P.L. 440, Sec. 5.
