Section 1. Be it enacted, &c., That a State Fair Commission is hereby created, which shall consist of eleven citizens of the Commonwealth. The Governor, the Secretary of Agriculture, the Superintendent of Public Instruction, and the Commissioner of Labor and Industry shall be ex officio members of the commission. The remaining seven members of the commission shall be appointed by the Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate. Of the first appointments, three members shall be appointed for terms of four years each, two for terms of three years each, and two for terms of two years each. Thereafter, as the terms of the respective members shall expire, all appointments shall be made for terms of four years each. Vacancies happening by death, resignation, or otherwise shall be filled by the Governor for the unexpired term.
