Section 2. Senator Albert V. "Bud" Belan Bridge.
(a) Findings.--The General Assembly finds and declares as follows:
(1) Senator Albert V. "Bud" Belan served in the General
Assembly from 1989 through November 2000, having been elected
to three consecutive terms as a State Senator.
(2) Along with his many years of service to the
Commonwealth, Senator Belan had previously served as a police
officer in West Mifflin Borough and a district justice.
(b) Designation.--The bridge carrying State Route 2096 over the Youghiogheny River in the City of McKeesport, Allegheny County, is designated and shall be known as the Senator Albert V. "Bud" Belan Bridge.
(c) Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain signs which shall display the name of the bridge designated in subsection (b) at each end of the bridge.
