Section 1. Name of bridge.
The bridge on Legislative Route 37089 crossing the Shenango River in Lawrence County and connecting the City of New Castle and Taylor Township, previously referred to as the Cherry Street Bridge, is hereby designated and shall hereafter be known as the Lieutenant Colonel John B. Brettell Bridge, in memory of this Pennsylvania Army National Guard Officer who died January 28, 1945, while a prisoner of the Japanese during World War II.
