If any precinct superintendent or precinct deputy from that precinct is not present to receive instructions, the ballots, election supplies, and the ballot boxes for the precinct shall be delivered to the sheriff for delivery to the precinct superintendent
— under BALLOTS AND ELECTION SUPPLIES.
