Fee for filing divorce action--Distribution of fee

The clerk of courts shall charge and collect a fee of fifty dollars for filing a divorce action. The fee shall be deposited in the county general fund as provided in § 16-2-30 . The county treasurer shall deposit half of the fee in the county domestic abuse program fund and half of the fee in the county general fund. Source: SL 1993, ch 192 , § 4.
