Intercounty contracts for use of facilities

If a board of county commissioners provides and maintains temporary care, shelter, or detention facilities under § 26-7A-23 , the board may contract or enter into an agreement under the authority of chapter 1-24 with the board of county commissioners of other counties of the state to receive the children of other counties who may be ordered to be placed in temporary care, shelter or detention in appropriate facilities under the provisions of this chapter and chapter 26-8A , 26-8B , 26-8C , or §§ 26-11A-13 and
